RegexValidator

RegexValidator allows you to match a value against a regular expression pattern.

Parameters: ‘pattern’ PCRE to be used in preg_match ‘match’ input should match or not ‘export’ string with name of argument to export entire value to, or an array of subpatterns names as keys and argument names as values to selectively export one or more parts of the value

MethodDescription
getAcceptedParameters(): array<int, string>Returns the base Validator parameters plus ‘pattern’ and ‘match’.

public static function getAcceptedParameters(): array<int, string>

Returns the base Validator parameters plus ‘pattern’ and ‘match’.

‘pattern’ is the PCRE handed to preg_match() and must be a string. ‘match’ is the expected outcome the preg_match() result is compared against, so setting it falsy inverts the validator into a must-not-match check. The inherited ‘export’ parameter is also read here: given a map of subpattern name to argument name it exports individual captures of a positive match, otherwise the whole input value.

Returns array``<``int``, ``string``> — The accepted parameter names.

These come from an ancestor and are documented where they are declared.
